WHO ARE WE?

We are Christians who gather simply and only in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matt. 18:20; 1 Cor. 5:4).

We are nondenominational, owning only such names as are given to the children of God in the New Testament scriptures, such as believer's, brethren, saints, Christians, etc. (1 Tim. 4:12; Acts 15:32; Col 1:12; Acts 11:26). We have no formulated creed, but accept the Bible, which we believe to be the verbally inspired Word of God as our infallible guide in all things (1 Tim. 3:15-7). We observe in simplicity the ordinances left by the Lord Jesus for His people, namely, baptism by immersion of  true believers in Christ as their personal saviour (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 18:8; Rom. 6:3-4) and the Breaking of Bread (Luke 22:19; Acts 2:42; 1 Cor. 11:23-27) which is observed on the first day each week (Acts 20:7).

Similar groups of believers in Christ, following the New Testament pattern, meet in all parts of the world.

We believe in One God, that eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit -Matthew 28:19

About: About

WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?

  • The Bible is the Word of God, revealing His mind to us (1 Cor. 2:13; 2 Pet. 1:21).

  • One God eternally exists in three equal Persons: Father, son, and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19;2 Cor. 13:14)

  • The Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten, sinless, eternal Son of God, Miraculously born of the virgin Mary, and the only One whose life was absolutely sinless (John 1:1; Matt. 1:18-23).

  • Humans are born in sin through the fall in Eden's garden, and are therefore utterly sinful by nature, and that it is impossible for anyone to be saved through their own works or religious observances (Rom. 5:12, 3:23; Eph. 2:8-9).

  • Once in the end of the age, Christ appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself (Heb. 9:26) on the Cross by offering one sacrifice for sin forever (Heb.10:12). This wholly and eternally paid the penalty for sin by the shedding of His precious blood, without which is no remission (Heb. 9:22). Any person who in faith rests upon that finished work, immediately enters into its benefits to the  soul, having redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace (John 19:3, 5:24; Eph. 1:7; 1 Pet.1:18).

  • God set His seal of approval to Christ's work by raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His own right hand in heaven (1 Cor. 15: 17-20; Rom. 4:25: Acts 2:32).

  • The Lord Jesus Christ is coming again for His own, raising those who have died believing in Him, changing the living believers and taking them all to be forever with Himself (1 Thess. 4:14-17; John 14:3).

  • He will be the Judge of those who reject Him as their saviour in this day of grace, and their portion will be eternal punishment (Heb. 9:27; 2Thess. 1:8-9; Rev. 20:11-15).
